About
Us
AAT is an
independently owned and operated auto appraisal consulting business
in the startup phase. The company offers auto appraisal training
courses that can be taught as written or customized to meet the
individual needs of the insurance carrier. Although not limited to,
the primary client for AAT is a small to midsize carrier concerned
with appraisal consistency and customer service. We offer services that
provide necessary training at a fraction of the
cost of employing a full-time trainer. AAT will also work
with larger insurance carriers to help supplement their existing
training programs.
The
owner, Ray Belsito, has a combined total of 20 years experience
in the insurance and collision repair industries. Aside from
operating his own business, he has over 8 years
experience working for one of the nations largest property and
casualty insurers. During that time, he managed a large appraisal
operation for the company and for 4 years was responsible for the
training of the entire appraisal staff nationwide. His experience
ranges from high level appraisal operations to advanced technical
training, having been a corporate trainer as well as an I-CAR
instructor. This experience makes him the ideal candidate to work
with your staff to review and make suggestions that will improve
your existing process, increase appraisal effectiveness and
ultimately improve customer service.
Our courses were
specifically designed to be taught in just about any classroom
environment anywhere in the US, therefore reducing the cost associated with employee
travel, unnecessary independent usage and, most importantly,
valuable employee time in the field. Thank you and I look forward to
speaking with you.

Position - Owner
·
I successfully owned and operated a collision repair center with
three employees. I had a used car license and sold cars as well. I
opened the business independently at twenty three years old and was
very successful for the entire time I owned it. I sold the business
because I had a desire to work in a more professional environment,
and I knew I would be successful working for a large corporation. I
then went to work for Liberty Mutual as an auto damage appraiser and
in one year I was promoted to the home office team. As a home office
employee, I was personally responsible for the training of Liberty
Mutual’s entire appraisal staff nationwide.
